Great news! Sony has announced Lemmings for the PS2. Besides the original 120 levels, the game features an EyeToy mode where the player can directly interact with the lemmings by moving their body. The game was shown at E3 earlier this month, and will be out in Europe early this fall. More information and media to come soon.
Sony has officially announced a U.S. release for Lemmings for PSP! According to SCEA's press release, Lemmings for PSP will be released on May 23, 2006 in the U.S. The game features over 150 levels, including 20 levels new for the PSP version of the game. Excitingly, the game features a level-editor for the creation of custom levels which can then be shared with other players over the internet.
Sony has announced that they will be releasing Lemmings for the Sony PSP game system later this year. So far, only a European release has been announced, it remains to be seen whether the game will be available in other countries. See this page for screenshots. UPDATE: Lemmings for PSP was released on March 9, 2006 in Japan and on March 10, 2006 in Europe. The game is due to be released on May 1, 2006 in the United States.
